Community Tourist

This house near the Northern base of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve was interesting because it was obviously a nice house, but it was disguised otherwise since the outer stucco layer had been temporarily stripped.   I am assuming that a new layer of stucco is not far off for this home, since it was otherwise very well maintained, and located in a very nice central Phoenix, natural-feeling desert community.

Aside from the obvious distraction provided by the remodeling, the house is very well designed structurally – in sync with the mountain it sits upon.  There are some stone accented pillars setting off the lower level and a strategically placed, large windows on the upper floor.  For anyone who wants a balance of seclusion from the city and interaction with the surrounding community, this would be the perfect house.
